<![CDATA[SAM – Senior Active Men’s Group of Illinois - Bridge Group]]>Sun, 12 Jan 2025 19:00:25 -0800Weebly<![CDATA[Bridge Game]]>Sat, 11 Jan 2025 23:32:26 GMThttp://samgroupil.org/bridge-group/bridge-gameThe MEL group sponsors a bridge game every Friday from 11am until 3 pm.  They welcome members of other groups.  The game is held at Demetri’s, a Greek restaurant located at 660 Lake Cook Road in Deerfield.  Bridge starts at 11 with a break for lunch a little past 12.  Participants pay a $13 minimum which goes toward their lunch order.  Once lunch is over, play resumes.

If you would like to try it out email Bill Steel @ bsteelb@gmail.com and you will be  added to the weekly email invitation to the event.  There is no need to respond to the invitation (they don’t need an attendee count); you just show up.

The Bridge group is always looking for more players. I am soliciting players for the game on Friday, April 17th, from 11:00AM to about 3:00PM at the Embassy Suites located at 1445 Lake Cook Road in Deerfield. The phone number is (847) 945-4500. It is located on the south side of Lake Cook Rd, just east of the TriState Tollway and Wilmot Rd. The turn is called Embassy Way. MEL, GEL, SEL, HOG and SAM members may bring friends. Please let me know by email who can commit for this game.
